This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and when you contact us, how we use it, and your choices. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you ask for a quote or contact us, we may collect:

• your name and phone number
• your email address, if you give it
• the service you need, the suburb of the job and a description of the work
• photos of the site you choose to attach, and any plans or drawings you email us

We only ask for what we need to reply to you and quote the job. Please don't send information we haven't asked for, such as bank details or identity documents.

How we collect it

We collect information directly from you: through the quote form on this website, by phone, by email or in person on site. You can ask general questions without giving your name, but we need a way to contact you to reply.

How we use it

• to reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote
• to arrange, carry out and invoice the work if you go ahead
• to keep the business records we're required to keep, such as tax records

We don't use your details for marketing, and we don't sell, rent or trade them.

Who we share it with

We only share your information when we need to in order to do the above, or when the law requires it. To run this website and receive your enquiry, we use these service providers:

• Vercel, which hosts this website
• FormSubmit, which receives the quote form, including any photos, and forwards it to our email
• Google, which provides our email service (Gmail) and the fonts used on this website
• Umami, which counts visits to this website (see below)

These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. When your browser loads fonts from Google, Google receives technical information such as your IP address.

Cookies and visit counts

This website doesn't use cookies. To see how the site is used, we count page visits and clicks on the call, email and quote buttons with Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service. Umami doesn't use cookies, doesn't collect your name or contact details, and doesn't follow you across other websites. It records general information such as the page you viewed, the website that sent you here, your browser, device type and country.

If we ever add cookies or other tracking, we'll update this policy first.

How we keep it safe

We keep enquiry details in password-protected accounts, and only people who need them to handle your enquiry or job can see them. We keep information only as long as we need it for your enquiry, any resulting job and our legal record-keeping, and then delete it.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Questions and complaints

If you have a question or a complaint about how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. If you're not satisfied with our response within 30 days, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
